Nighthawk 5K

North Buncombe High School

September 6th, 2024 

Time: Middle School Girls  2 mile race 7:30 pm

Middle School Boys 2 mile race 8:00 pm

High School Girls 5k race 8:30 pm

High School Boys 5k race 9:15 pm

Open (adults, combined) 5k race10:00 pm

Course: The course terrain is a flat to rolling loop. The loop is

approximately 1 mile. The running surface is a combination of

grass, asphalt, and artificial turf. The course will be lighted

throughout.

Teams:The middle and high school races will be limited to 10 teams

or approximately 100 runners per race. The open race will be limited to 100 runners. 

Cost: Middle school = $25 per team or $50 for both boys and girls.

High Schools = $50 per team or $100 for both boys and girls.

Open race = $35 per individual. The open race is open to all runners.  

Registration: Registration for the middle and high school will be done on

NCMilesplit. Link

Open Race Run Signup

Awards: The top 2 teams in both the middle and high school races will

 receive team awards. The top 5 individuals in each team race

will receive individual wards. The top 3 males and females in

the open race will receive awards.
