Meet Information
Registration:
Please enter your athletes who will be participating by Wednesday, December 16, at 10am.
Register online at NCRunners.com.
You can enter up to seven in the Championship Races. There will be no JV or Developmental races this year due to Covid restrictions.
Buses: Please pull your buses behind the school by entering the bus parking lot. Drive all the way through to the tennis court entrance, pull through the fence and park alongside the tennis courts in the grass. Stay on your buses until a member of the South View staff comes and verifies that you have your Covid forms completed and for a final temperature check before entering the facility.
Bathrooms: Athletes should not be in the school building for any reason. Bathrooms at concessions will be open.
Bib Numbers, the Finish Chute and Finish Procedures: All runners will be assigned a bib number once all entries are in. Bib numbers will be sent out prior to the everyone arriving at South View. Have athletes write their bib numbers legibly on each arm or hand with sharpie so that they can easily be recorded at the conclusion of their race.
COY Ballots: Ballots for Coach of the Year have been placed inside your envelope. At the end of the meet, please fill these out and send them up to the press box at the end of the meet. Lytonia Whitaker (EES) and Rick Rhoda (GC) will tally the results inside the press box.
Individual Conference Champion: Remember, we do not vote for an Athlete of the Year. The individual Conference Champion will receive a plaque.
Verifying Results and More for Awards: At the conclusion of the girls championship, Cooper Wurst (SV), Bethany Noel (OH) and Matt Hanes (CF) will go through the results to verify the results and sort out the awards.

Awards in the football stadium following the Girls Championship

Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony after the meet will be held on the track. Everyone is asked to be seated in the home stands as quickly as possible.
