Meet Information
Registration:
New Meet Location is Hayesville Rec. Park Ball Fields.
Division 1-- Consists of Men and Women Middle School 2 mile.
Division 2--Consists of Men and Women High School 5000m or
3.1 mile.
TEAM SCORING: Team scores will be computed by totaling the
top five (5) runners finish positions. The 6th and 7th runners will count as
pushers. Teams with less than five runners will not be totaled in the team
scores but will be scored in the individual scoring. Runners 8+ will not be
scored in the team standings but will be timed and placed individually.
COURSE INSPECTION: Course will be available for inspection on
Race Day, November 18th, 2020 until first race starts.
COACHES MEETING will be held at 1:30pm.
CROSS COUNTRY CONFERENCE GUIDELINES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
START TIMES: 2:00 pm middle school boys -- 2:30 pm middle school girls -- 3:00 pm high school boys -- 3:30 pm high school girls
There must be a designated team area for each team -- not fans are allowed in team area
Athletes must wear masks at the start line and as soon as they finish -- masks must be worn in designated team areas -- it is the responsibility of each coach to monitor their own team -- this is not the host schools responsibility
Clay County School guidelines to follow:
Teams may only enter 9 athletes. (Triad Meet/State Guideline)
No visiting team fans may attend.
Host team fans strictly limited.
AWARDS:
There are awards for the top 7 individual finishers for High
School and Top 7 Individual finishers for Middle School. Each winning team will
receive a Championship Plaque.
