Apex Lions' Relays is by invitation only. Only teams with passwords will have access to meet entry. Meet questions need to be directed to Meet Director Roy Cooper: racooper@wcpss.net. All timing questions need to be directed to Paul Lockwood: plockwood@wcpss.net.

ENTRY PROCEDURE:

All entries will be done on-line through ncrunners (note that this is a change from the past few years). The events listed below will be contested at this meet. There is no qualifying standard for the relays (please submit an accurate time so that your team will be seeded properly). The field events are limited to 2 entries per school, but the athletes must meet the qualifying standard (the standards are listed below). Only 1 entry request per school is allowed for the premier races, but only the top 8 entries will be accepted in the 100 and high hurdle races and the top 12-16 will be accepted in the 1600 meter run.

Premier 100 Meter Dash (only top 8 will be entered)

Premier 100/110 High Hurdles (only top 8 will be entered)

Premier 1600 Meter Run (only top 12-16 will be entered)

Shot Put (womens qualifying = 27/mens qualifying = 39)

Discus (womens qualifying = 75/mens qualifying = 115)

Long Jump (womens qualifying = 14/mens qualifying = 19-6)

Triple Jump (womens qualifying = 30/mens qualifying = 39)

High Jump (womens qualifying = 48/mens qualifying = 5-10)

Pole Vault (womens qualifying = 8/mens qualifying = 11-6)

Entry fee: Please mail the appropriate entry fee with your entries or bring it with you to the meet. If you enter the meet, then you are obligating your school to pay an entry fee. Entry fees must be paid prior to the start of your teams competition. The fees are as follows:

$125.00 - for both a mens and womens team

$100.00 - for either a mens or a womens team

$20.00 - for a total number of athletes not to exceed four

$25.00 - entry fee if you enter and then scratch your team

Due Date: All entries must be entered on ncrunners by 4/14 9:00 PM. If you miss the deadline, then you will not be permitted to enter.
