Meet Information
This meet is named to honor Allison Brown, a Southern Guilford athlete who tragically passed away during practice. Since her passing, a scholarship in her name has been created. This meet helps to support the scholarship effort.
The entry fee for this meet is $90.00 per school. The entry fee for a single girls or boys team is $50.00. A school team consists of 5 athletes.
Schools may enter individual athletes at a cost of $5.00 for each athlete per event. Ex. John Thomas enters 3 events, his fee is $15.00.
NO UNATTACHED ATHLETES CAN ENTER THIS MEET.
Only 1 relay team per school can enter each relay event. The entry fee for a school relay team only is $25.00 per relay event.
Make checks payable to: Southern Guilford High Athletics. Please bring the check with you. Do not mail the check.
All fees are entry fees, not participation fees. There are NO REFUNDS after the entry deadline.
Adult and student spectator admission is $5.00. Children under 10 years old are free.
A maximum of 3 entries per school in each event. No athlete may participate in more than 4 events.
The long jump and triple jump will be limited to the top 20 jumpers. The top jumpers will be notified prior to the meet.
There will be no scratch meeting.
There will be 4 attempts given in the long jump, triple jump, shot put and discus. There are NO FINALS.
Starting heights: High Jump = Ladies 4'2" Men 5'4" Pole Vault = Ladies 7'0" Men 8'0"
Pole vault weigh in for men and women will begin at 8:45 am and close at 9:30am.
Meet management will provide all shots and rubber disc. All individual wooden or plastic disc must be inspected by 9:30 am.
Eight(8) places will be scored.
Medals will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place individuals and relays.
Team trophies will be presented to the Champion and Runner up teams.
Concessions will be sold.
