West Charlotte’s girls look to be the favorites here, led by sprinting star, Nyosha Bryant. However, you can’t count out Harding’s girls who are tough year in and year out. Also, a team that looks pretty good on paper is Pinecrest. They are led by their distance team, but with Shamika McRae’s points in the high jump and triple jump – they could sneak up. Other teams to watch are: Mount Tabor, Myers Park, Cary, SE Raleigh, and Jacinda Evans (Southern Durham). Photo by Mark Keenen

New Bern looks to be the favorite, but there are a number of teams ready to pull off the victory. New Bern is loaded with talent, from the relays, to the middle distance, to the sprints, to the horizontal jumps – they will be very tough to beat. However, East Forsyth, led by Dylan Ferris will look to steal a victory. Another team, flying under the radar, may be West Charlotte. This team has sprints, middle distance, and relays, too. Some other teams that will be towards the top could be: Wakefield, Knightdale, SE Raleigh, Butler, and Vance. Photo by Mark Keenen
