Hallandale senior Regine Williams and Nease senior Ceolamar Ways are this week's Athletes of the Week. Two weeks after a serious car accident, Williams claimed district titles in the 100 and 200, and finished third in the long jump. She set new personal bests of 11.70 and 23.76 in the 100 and 200. Her 200 mark is the sixth fastest high school time in the U.S. for 2013. Ways has spent 2013 focusing on the shorter sprints and has put up some very impressive times. His 20.93 set at the 3A District 3 Championship was the third fastest time in the nation behind two other Floridians Kendal Williams and Trayvon Bromell. All three will battle it out in the 100 and 200 meter next weekend at the 3A State Finals.
