Green Hope's girls were 2nd overall at Maymont with 74 points. The #20 ranked team in the US lost to Tatnall (DE) who totaled just 48 points. Tatnall is ranked #10 in the US. There were 4 top 25 ranked US teams in the event, so Green Hope proved they deserve the ranking. Blacksburg (VA) was 3rd with 98 points.

The Green Hope girls kept it relatively close with their scoring 5 which is their strength, as they don't have one single stud up front. 1-4 were just 18 seconds apart and then #5 and #6 ran together at just over 20:00, about 30 seconds off of #1.

One scary piece for the rest of NC and possibly the rest of the nation is that 5 of the top 6 return next year!
