Eastern Tour Opener
March 14 @ Rocky Mount
Every year since 2015, NCRunners LLC has arranged a series of meets in Eastern North Carolina with the goal of bringing fully automatic timing (FAT) to an area where it has historically been lacking. The Eastern Tour is also designed to provide good early-season competition and improve the exposure of athletes and teams that often get overlooked state-wide.
Meet management has made a pledge to keep the costs of the meet low so that schools from counties that provide less funding for track and cross country can still experience a true invitational atmosphere at a fraction of the price charged by other meets. High school teams, club teams, and unattached individuals are welcome,
and everyone can get good competition along with accurate times.

This year, you can choose from four Saturday meets scheduled all across the Eastern third of North Carolina. The tour kicks off at Rocky Mount High School this Saturday, with 15 teams scheduled to compete in what has become one of the true season-opening milestone meets in North Carolina. This year's Tour will take place on consecutive Saturdays, concluding with the East of 85 Invitational at South Lenoir on April 4th.
At the end of the series, we will publish merged results from all five meets and crown virtual Eastern Tour team and individual champions. So come join us at one of our four stops, and become a part of one of North Carolina's best track traditions!
