From the 16 NCHSAA Regionals held last Saturday 7 athletes per region advance to their respective NCHSAA State Championship as an individual. To do so you had to be within the top 7 individuals at the regional meet that was not on a team that qualified for the state meet. So each NCHSAA State Championship will have 28, 7 per each of the four regions, competing as qualifying individuals on Saturday at Ivey Redmon.
