NCRunners Middle School XC Festival Set For October 21st!

Owen Munn after finishing runner-up a year ago

We are excited to once again offer an end-of-season middle school cross-country event for the second year for Middle School athletes at Ivey Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville, North Carolina on Saturday, October 21st.

Register for the NCRunners Middle School XC Festival

The event will be free to all middle school teams and individuals.  We'll have a Championship section for program's top 7 runners as well as 6th, 7th and 8th grade races to give athletes outside of school's top 7 a chance to end their season with a new PR.  Runners will compete over the 2 Mile course.  Elementary school runners are allowed to compete in the 6th grade race as long as they will be competitive.  We hope to offer an elementary section in the future when there is demand for it.

For the Championship race, we will have awards for the top 15 individuals recognized as All-State and the top 2 teams.  For the grade level races, we will recognize the top 10 individuals at each grade level.

We'll have DJ Jeremy Ervin on site to bring a fun atmosphere with music and announcements.  Ivey Redmon Sports Complex hosts many events including the NCHSAA State Championship.  So this gives athletes a chance to get familiar with a course they'll see plenty of times over their high school career.  The venue is as spectator-friendly as you could ask for as well!

Our goal with this event is to continue to grow Middle School Track and Cross Country in North Carolina by giving them a state championship-caliber field and event.  This event is open to schools, clubs and unattached individuals.  If you have any questions about the event feel free to reach out to jason.creasy11@gmail.com.
