Jarett Samuels of Vance had a huge day on Friday at East Tennessee State University. Hitting 2 new personal bests, one in the 200m dash prelims and the other in the long jump.
Samuels continues his outstanding season, coming off a win in the 300 and the long jump last weekend at the Durham Striders Invitational. Yesterday, Samuels hit 22.26 in the 200m dash qualifying him in a tie for the top spot. Then in the long jump leaped to a new record of 24-3.5 to win by just over 1 foot.
The 24-3.5 ranks Samuels #2 in the nation!
