Welsh had the run of her life and it resulted in a 3rd place finish in the Championship girls race at Friday Night Lights. The junior ran 18:09, which was a huge personal best.
Obremski finished 2nd at the Wilmington Beach Blast and clocked NC No. 2 time on the season, 17:52.
