This senior class is lethal. Defending 1A NCHSAA state champion Tucker Holloway (Andrews) is back for his senior season, and he sits as the fourth overall returner. One big name to watch is Henry Rutledge (Charlotte Christian). The NCISAA product was 3rd at his state meet as a sophomore in 2019, and returns this season as the overwhelming favorite. Cameron Hogan (Warren County) jumped 22-8 as a sophomore and is looking to build on that performance. Other notables this season are 2019 NCHSAA 3A runner-up Titus Phillips (Kings Mountain), Savone Tutt (Pamlico County), Caleb Stephens (Millbrook), and Eric Brown (Carolina Elite Track Club). Could this be the year the smaller school dominate the jumps?
