Defending individual NCISAA 3A champion Ryann Aycock is ready to take her young team to the next level this season. Aycock won the 3A title as a freshman last season, was 4th as an 8th grader, and 11th as a 7th grader. They will rely very heavily on their two rising freshman Tori Stonebraker and Rylie Estep to be low-scoring runners. Stonebraker was All-State last season as she finished 10th at the state meet! Fellow rising freshman Estep was their #4 runner at the meet and was 29th overall. Georgia Ayers is a sophomore this season and was right behind Stonebraker at the state meet finishing 16th. Hannah Otto was 36th last season as a freshman finishing as Cary Christian's #5 runner. However, Otto has a one second lead on personal bests over Estep. the battle for 4th and 5th positions will be very tight and hopefully push these young runners to the next level. They come in as #7 but can very likely move into the Top 3 by season's end. Get ready for Cary Christian, they are here to stay!
