Boys 800m
The pace in the boys 800m went out hard with Zach Crain (A.C. Reynolds) taking the field out in roughly 54 seconds. Lucas Wiley (A.C. Reynolds), Jason Risse (North Lincoln), Johnny Grant (North Lincoln) and Major Eason (Asheville School) had to reel him in. Crain slowed 500m in and Wiley and Risse began closing quickly. Risse could never swing past him and Wiley pulled ahead to win in 1:58.85.
