Cravont Charleston (Mallard Creek, NC State) - 60 Meter Dash
Former NCHSAA 4A Indoor & Outdoor State Champion is one of the top seeds in the NCAA in the 60m Dash. The Junior out of Charlotte, NC and Mallard Creek HS has run a NCAA #3 mark of 6.54 this season. His season best mark came back on February 9th at the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson University.
In high school Charleston ran 6.24 indoors and 10.38. Both of his high school best came at the NCHSAA Indoor & Outdoor State Championships as a senior.
Charleston has been to the NCAA Outdoor Championships as a part of the Wolfpack's 4x100m, but this will be his first time competing as an individual. Outdoors as a freshman and sophomore he competed at the NCAA DI East Prelims but did not advance to nationals.
