Lauren Evans (Pine Forest, NC State) - Shot Put
Lauren Evans is one that has truly flourished at the collegiate level. Her best NCHSAA 4A state meet finish was 5th as a sophomore. She took 7th as a junior and a senior. She did throw 42-6.5 in high school and has went on to have a stellar career at NC State.
This indoor season has been her best yet. Evans has thrown 55-3.75 with is the 16th best mark in the NCAA. She also won the ACC Indoor Championships with a throw of 53-11.75. Evans threw 53-10 last year at the end of the outdoor season, so she is certainly well ahead of that as the indoor season begins to wrap
