4x200 Meter
Parkland is the top seed here, and will be trying to avenge their second place finish to Weddington last year. Cuthbertson is seeded between the two. Parkwood and Southern Lee have both cracked 1:33, and could ratchet up the speed to force the winner of this race to have to put down a sub 1:30 effort.
4x400 Meter
Cuthbertson has a very strong 4x400 relay, having clocked sub 3:24 this season, giving them a more than six second advantage over the second seed. Asheville has the only other sub 3:30 time, with the next five teams separated by less than 1.5 seconds. This includes West Carteret, A.L. Brown, Hillside, Parkland and Weddington. Weddington is a strong 400 program, and the reigning champion in this event, so keep your eyes on them to beat their seed time and move up.
4x800 Meter
Weddington has a fantastic seedtime at 7:49, and no one else is within 25 seconds of them in the seedings. Cuthbertson and Mount Tabor are the only other two to have broken 8:20, and the rest of the podium is wide open for whoever puts together the best squad for race day. Marvin Ridge returns three of their four runners from last year's fourth place finishing squad, and will try to chase down last year's runner up Asheville.
