Cambrea Sturgis - 17-18 Year Old - Salisbury Speedsters
Cambrea Sturgis will close out her high school career this weekend at the Russell Blunt ECI. Sturgis clocked an NC#1 11.59 with a -2.9 wind at the Powerade State Games in early July. She'll face off against a strong 100m Dash field that holds Imani Rivas (Run U Xpress, SC), Alexis Patterson (Lights Out TC), Kamaya Debose-Epps (Tri City Relays), as well as Kelly Rowe (Mansfield Lake Ridge, TX) who has run 11.47. This should be a lightning fast final. Sturgis has taken some downtime since the Powerade State Games and didn't run at the AAU or USATF Regional meets. We should see some fast times coming this weekend. So this will likely be her last event before she attends North Carolina A&T in the fall.
