Helping pave the way at a new school for new runners coming up in our program
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
More mileage and less intensity as an underclassmen
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Staying healthy and being positive, even after having tough races and or seasons.
What will you miss the most?
My team, I've never had a group I connect with as well as I do with them.
What advice you would give to younger athletes?
Mileage and form, make yourself more efficient and you'll add more miles easier
What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
Coach Jenkins is the best coach I've ever had. He has helped me drastically with form and mileage, which I lacked at my first school
What are your college plans?
Run all three season and get my education degree to be a history teacher
Who would you like to say thank you to?
Mom thank you, through all the injuries I've had you've pushed me through it. You helped my archive the mental strength I lacked to become a better runner. Dad, thank you for the leg strength and guidance. Coach Jenkins, again thank you for everything I could not have done any of this without you. Coach Matthew's, thank you for helping me keep that edge with all the hard track workouts you gave us. Coach Spaulding, thank you for pushing me harder in weight training to help me with my form.
