Ian Shanklin (Page) NC#11 in the 4A Midwest 1600, not entered, looks to be focusing on big 3200 matchup with Connor Lane and Cameron Ponder at States.
Todd Holbrook (RJ Reynolds) NC#9 in the 3200, only entered in the 800 at regional. NC#1-NC#4 in the 3200 each are in the 4A Midwest regional.
Tucker Cera (Millbrook) & Ian Delgado (Green Hope) rank top 4 in the 4A Mideast 1600, not entered to focus on 3200, 800 respectively.
J Johnson (Panther Creek) does not elect the 100-200-400-Long Jump quadruple. He is top ranked in the 4A Mideast in all 4 events, not entered in the 400. Likely 4x1/4x2 instead and likely the wiser choice.
Gable Dershem (Cleveland) not entered in 3A East 1600, focused on 3200 as I expected.
Evan Harris (Lake Norman) NC#8 in 1600 focusing on 800 at 4A West
Dyami Brown (West Mecklenburg) not entered in 100/200 at 4A West, came up limping at SoMeck 8 200 last week.
Natalie Tyner (Laney) is NC#6 in the 1600, only entered in 3200 at 4A East Regional.
Avin Lane (Cox Mill) 2nd in the 3A 100m Dash, 3rd in 200 at 3A State Championships not entered in the 3A Midwest regionals.
Katherine Dokholyan (Chapel Hill) NC#1 in the 800 at 2:14 not entered, focus on 1600.
Calli Parlier (Apex) top ranked 3200 runner in 4A Mideast elects for 1600/800 instead.
NC#5 Pole Vaulter Justin Richard (Lake Norman) not entered at 4A West Regional
Mason Bhatia (Marvin Ridge) top ranked 1600m runner in 3A Midwest scratches, likely focused on 4x800 & 800.
Dontavian Smith (Person) out with hamstring injury, said he hopes to be back by NBON.
