NCRunners.com Preseason XC Coaches Poll

This weekend officially begins the '08 XC season in North Carolina. Many athletes have worked hard all summer for the upcoming season and there will be many surprises. The NCRunners.com Coaches Poll will be released every other Tuesday/Wednesday beginning with today's Preseason Poll.

Any coach in the state may participate, heads & assistants. Just vote for the top 10 teams in your classification and send your votes to me at ben.hovis@providenceday.org. If you'd like, you may also vote for any other classification that you feel comfortable voting for.

Thanks to all the coaches that voted in the 1st poll of the 2008 XC season. This season should be a great one. Best of luck to all the athletes and coaches around the state.

There are many familiar names at the top of each classification. 7 of the 10 teams ranked #1 won state titles last year in their respective classes.

We’ll start with the smaller classifications first.
