After finishing off his high school running career with a podium finish in the 3200 at the 2012 4A Outdoor State Meet, Michael Ellis continued his career at App. State. He has had a tremendous amount of success and that seems to just have been the beginning. He kicked off his red-shirt junior year with a narrow second place finish at Covered Bridge Open against stout competitive like Florida and Florida State. His time of 20:02 for 4-miles is nearly a minute faster than he ran last season. We caught up with Ellis and spoke about his running career.
