Most Improved Runner: Patrick Campbell, Mooresville – 2006 PR was 16:14, in 2007 he only ran 1 race over 16:00, took 1:02 off McAlpine best to qualify for Foot Locker Nationals

Runner of the Year: Adrianne Soo, Durham Academy – After having surgery during the summer came back to finish 11th at the Foot Locker South Regional, 2nd straight NCISAA state title, 2nd year in a row to end season with fastest time in NC
Most Improved Runner: Molly Baker, Cardinal Gibbons – This was a very tough call, but Molly ran 20:06 at the 2006 Wendy’s Invite and 18:52 at the 2007 Foot Locker South meet. Molly consistently ran under 20:00 this season whereas last year she only did it once.
