The majority of coaches agreed the rankings for each classification should simply remain as they finished at states. There was one classification that was slightly different. You'll have to check that out for yourself.
Also included, the coaches top 15 poll. Twenty boys and twenty girls teams received votes to be in the top 15.
I'm inviting athletes to submit your Top 15 teams. I'd love to see how you differ from the coaches and I know many of you have strong opinions! Please send in your votes by Saturday at midnight. I'll post the Athletes Top 15 Poll this weekend. Don't miss your chance to participate!

2) Mooresville - won their 2nd straight 3A state title without their #2 runner, 10 runners ran 17:56 or better
3) Enloe - finished 2nd at the 4A state championships, 8 runners met the NCRunners 18:00 standard, returns most of team
4) Green Hope - won Mideast 4A Region, finished 3rd at 4A state championships, 10 runners ran 17:30 or better, return most of team
5) Chapel Hill - finished 4th at the 4A state championships, 10 runners ran 17:27 or better, many 9th and 10th graders
6) South View - finished 5th at the 4A state championships, 10 runners ran 17:41 or faster, return 6 of 10
7) Providence Day - won 3rd straight 3A NCISAA state championship, 9 runners met the NCRunners 18:00 standard, return 5 of top 9
8) Asheville - finished 2nd in the 3A state meet, 5 runners broke 18:00, running their best at the end of the season
9) East Forsyth - won 4A Midwest Regional, 6 athletes met the NCRunners 18:00 standard, return 4
10) Owen - won the 2A state title, 7 runners ran 17:35 or faster, return 4
11) Durham Academy - very young team finished 2nd by 2 pts. at the 3A state meet, 6 runners broke 17:30, all return
12) West Johnston - finished 6th at the 4A state meet, 7 runners met the NCRunners 18:00 standard, return 4

1) Cardinal Gibbons - won 2nd straight 2A state title with state record of 21 points, 7 athletes ran 20:40 or better, returns 5 of 7
2) TC Roberson - won record 10th state title by winning 3A girl's race, 6 girls broke 20:00 on the season, return 4
3) Chapel Hill - won 3rd consecutive 4A state title, 10 runners met the NCRunners 21:30 standard, majority return
4) Myers Park - won 4A West Regional, finished 2nd at the 4A state meet, 8 runners met the 21:30 NCRunners standard, 6 of the 8 return
5) Terry Sanford - finished 3rd at the 4A state meet, 5 girls ran 20:20 or faster with 3 coming back
6) Cary - finished 4th at the 4A state championships, 5 girls ran 20:34 or faster
7) NW Guilford - won Mideast 4A Regional, finished 5th at the 4A state meet, 8 girls ran 21:30 or faster with 5 returning
