Boys Team Champions: South View

It turned out to not be as close as it looked coming into the meet. From the 4x800, which the Tigers won in 7:57.23 US #12 NC #4 All-Time, South View was in the driver's seat in this meet. They ended up winning 49-37 over Millbrook, getting points in the triple jump, 4x2, and 4x4 in addition to their distance points. Among those distance points were Michael Staples' excellent 2nd leg in the 4x800, not to mention his 5th-place finish in the 1000.

Boys Team Runners-Up: Millbrook

Millbrook was a bit off the radar coming into the meet, but a big day by Jonte Leaston in the field put them in contention. Elijah Coley finished 3rd in the pole vault, Raul Oquendo chipped in a 4th in the 55 Dash, and the Wildcats scored in both the 4x8 and 4x4 to slip past Ragsdale, Southeast Raleigh, and Apex (who all tied with 34 points).
