A pitched battle was waged yesterday on the MileSplit US Rankings Page between the three states that have major indoor track meets in December (North Carolina, Virginia, and New York).  All three states claimed multiple national leaders during the course of the day, sometimes in the same event!  When the dust settled, North Carolina came away with 6 new US #1 performances plus one tie (New York also had 6, while Virginia added 4 to the list).

In addition to the national bragging rights, North Carolina saw a small handful of athletes make a lasting mark on the All-Time Rankings for our state.  Let's celebrate the beginning of the holidays with a complete run-down of all the top performances from the JDL Saturday!
