The invitational season has only two more weekends, and then North Carolina's championship season begins. Weekend 7 featured a lot of athletes that have already raced a bunch this season, and in some cases the tired legs showed. In other cases, though, runners turned in some very impressive performances while they established themselves as contenders at the conference, regional, or state level. Congratulations to last week's poll winner, Kyle Christ (West Johnston), whose race at the adidas XC Challenge was one of the most impressive of the season so far.
