The wooded trails of Weddington High School are a challenge, and they will feature fantastic racing this weekend.  

 

Boys Individual Race

Hickory Ridge's Alex Cornwell highlights the virtual meet, holding the fastest time of the season, and also the fastest PR in the field, and hopes to break 16:00 for the first time this season.  Challenging Cornwell will be essentially all of Weddington's top 5 runners, who will all be wanting to take home the individual title at their home meet.  Mitchell Resor, Ryan Hobbs, Matthew Connor and Alex Hazan all of Weddington hold the 2nd-5th place rankings in the virtual meet based off times from this year.  Though still early in the year a few runners who will be at the front of the fleet such as CATA's Elijah Inuwa and Charlotte Latin's Jack Ratterree will both be looking to run for the win this Saturday morning.  Inuwa, who has 1:53 800 speed, will certainly be a threat to win if he is within reach when the race gets to the 300 m...
