The Providence Invitational in years past have always been a great showcase for what is to come during the XC season, and this year’s meet won't end that tradition. In possibly the strongest year ever for the event, this meet will hold 4 of the top 5 boy’s teams in the returning rankings, and 3 of the top 5 girl’s teams. The meet will consist of 64 teams competing in Invitational, Open, and JV races. Invitational Races consist of larger schools, mainly 3a/4a, while open races consist of mostly 1a/2a schools. But both races should be highly competitive. Of those 64 teams, over 10 are travelling in from either South Carolina or Georgia.
