The Foot Locker Experience, 140 Characters at a Time

Three of North Carolina's best runners (and at least one coach) get to enjoy the Hotel Del Coronado for the weekend.

As you should already know, there are three North Carolina boys competing at the prestigious Foot Locker Nationals this weekend: Ben Huffman (Providence Day), Ian Milder (Mount Tabor), and Patrick Sheehan (Lake Norman).  In the past I've asked athletes to record their weekend through a written diary, but this year I came up with a different plan.  I've asked our state's three representatives to share their experiences 140 characters at a time through Twitter.  Throughout the weekend, you can check here as they mark the major events of the Foot Locker weekend with a few well-placed messages and photos.  Heck, we'll even let their coaches get in on the action!  Each evening, I will collect the tweets and add them to this article, so you can check on their onging exploits.  There will also be a live feed on Saturday, where the guys can share their post-race thoughts, which will hopefully be celebratory.  Of course, if you're not patient enough to wait for each evening to roll around, you can follow NCRunners on Twitter and get all the updates in real time.
