Five teams entered are only separated by 5 seconds in the 4x800 and it truly is anybodies race for the taking between Swansboro, West Carteret, Asheville, Weddington and Marvin Ridge. No team really has too big of an edge over the other and this should be a very exciting 5 team battle to watch.
4x400
Jacksonville comes in with the fastest mark of the season at 3:26.00 and are no joke when it comes to the 4x400. They lead the state last outdoors season with a time of 3:17.23, and I believe they returned three of there legs from that relay. Marvin Ridge, Cuthbertson and Weddington enter as the next fastest seeds. All four of these teams are in consideration for a team title and placing in this event very well could be the deciding factor.
4x200
Jacksonville enters with the best mark of the season at 1:31.00, but that was on an outdoor track which is much better conditions to run a 4x200 due to no breaking and wider turns. Weddington holds the fastest mark on an indoor track at 1:32.80 followed by South Brunswick at 1:34.70. The final section will include Jacksonville, North Henderson, Weddington, Southern Lee, Cuthbertson and Southern Guilford.
