Girls Race 4:30
Boys Race 10 minutes following the girls final finisher
This will be our senior night celebration so we will pause just a moment before the boys race and recognize our one senior then get that race started.
All results will be emailed to you the night of.
All teams will set up next to the tennis courts where the race begins as in years past.
When parking your bus if you arrive early please pull into our second entrance and come around back until you can go down both hills to the football field. Please park your buses either in the grass next to the softball field or next to our baseball field. As long as you do not block the road going up and down the hill you are good. If you arrive around 4:00 please use the second entrance and pull all the way around back to park in the back parking lot at the bottom of this lot.
Parents and visitors should take the first entrance and park in our student lot and walk across the teacher parking lot to where we are starting the race. If your team is driving separate for some reason please also park in this lot as well.
Spectators and parents are not allowed on the starting field. They must stay on the side of the hill or they can spectate back and forth from our top fields to our bottom fields that we go around. When spectators begin to get on the starting field people lose track of the race itself. Someone may get in the way and we don't want any possible obstructions.
I do ask that a couple coaches be willing to help us out in a couple areas of the course. We will have arrows painted every 10 steps or so and we will also have cones and signs everywhere. I will have parents stationed in several locations but we can't cover it all. If someone cuts a corner or misses a turn completely it may result in disqualification. I always recommend that you arrive around 3:15 so you not only avoid school traffic but also have lots of time to walk the course and know what is going on.
Bathrooms will be located at the very bottom between the football field and softball field in the field house and also in the build next to our press box above our football field. I personally recommend the second set of bathrooms.
If you have run the course in years past it is the exact same as always.
