SCHEDULE:
7:30- parking lot at PHS opens and drop off at PHS Baseball and Cross Country Complex begins
8:30- Community 5K race
9:30- Combined male/female middle school 3K race if enough participation (scored separately)
10:10- High School Girls Championship 5K
10:45- High School Boys Championship 5K
11:15- High School Girls and Boys Combined 5K JV Race (scored separately)
12:00- Awards
*We will run up to 10 minutes ahead of this schedule, so please be ready when its time for your event to begin*
ENTRY FEES: Registration will be $100/team for up to 20 runners, $60 for up to 10 runners of 1 gender or $20/individual runner. Please make checks to "Pisgah High School Cross Country" and mail to:

COURSE INFO: The course is a great high school cross country 5K facility. It's mostly on grass, with some gravel, and a very short paved section. The surrounding hill and countryside will be the backdrop, making a picturesque autumn run on mostly level turf for this area. It will be 2 full loops with the start of a 3rd. Runners will make a left turn back to the finish line after completing the straightaway along Highway 215 for the 3rd time. This race is perfect for runners of all levels of experience. It is also the venue for the Mountain 8 Cross Country Conference Championship.

AWARDS: Recognition and awards will be presented to the top male and female teams and runners up entered in the championship race. 1st-3rd places in the championship races will also be awarded and recognized. The top 3 males and females in the JV race will be awarded a medal in the chute.
PARKING: Facility will open at 7:30am. Parking for buses and spectators is not at the facility. Buses should drop teams off at facility, and then drive to PHS. Please enter the school at the track gate and park in the lot adjacent to the pine trees. There will be a shuttle bus from 7:30-12:30 running approximately every 10 minutes to and from the facility. Bus drivers may use this shuttle to get to the complex and back to the school.
There is no admission for spectators, but there is a $10/vehicle parking fee. Parking is only available at PHS and will not be allowed on the side of the highway at complex. Spectators should enter the school parking lot at the front gate. Payments may be made in cash only. A great way to not have to pay for parking is enter the community 5K and get a parking pass! Spectators will use the same shuttle bus available for activity bus drivers.
TEAM TENTS: May be placed on grass sections beside tress adjacent to highway and beside the baseball fields (but not outfield fences). Please do not set up or go on baseball fields. Make sure to clean up all trash.
