Tyrone Hanner Runway Invitational

Jordan-Matthews High School proudly welcomes you to the 1st annual Tyrone Hanner Runway Invitational, a day of competitive cross country racing honoring Coach Tyrone Hanner and celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, dedication, and excellence.
Meet Schedule
7:45-8:30 AM Check in
8:30 AM Course Walk-through
8:40 AM Coaches meeting and final race instructions
8:50 AM Girls report to starting area
9:00 AM Girls Varsity 5K
9:35 AM Boys report to starting area
9:45 AM Boys Varsity 5K
10:25 AM Results finalized and awards prepared
10:40 AM Awards Ceremony
12 PM Invitational concludes
Awards Ceremony - Immediately following the conclusion of the final race.
Race times are approximate and may be adjusted based on meet flow.
Meet Information
Location: Jordan-Matthews High School, Siler City, NC
Parking: Free parking is available on campus. Please follow the directions of meet personnel upon arrival.
Packet Pickup: Opens at 7:45 AM near the start/finish area.
Course: A spectator-friendly course featuring grass, trails, and open running areas.
Timing: Fully automated chip timing with live results posted on MileSplit.
Team Camps: Teams may set up in designated tent areas only.
Restrooms: Available on campus.
Concessions: Food and beverages will be available throughout the meet.
Registration
High School Teams/Clubs-$125 per division (If you are bringing runners for the men and women division $200)
Individual runners-$75 per runner
Payment will be accepted at the registration tent on the morning of the event.
Checks are to be made out to "Jordan Matthews High School Booster Club, ATTN Cross Country"
Cash also accepted
All entries must be submitted through MileSplit by the posted registration deadline.
Coaches are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all entries before the deadline.
No race-day entries will be accepted unless approved by the meet director.
