Meet Information
Welcome to the 4-15 track meet at Southern Guilford High
located at 5700 Drake Road Greensboro, NC 27406. We are hoping each team
will enjoy their experience.
We are asking when travelling on Drake Road, bypass the
circular driveway in front of the school and proceed to the first paved entrance
pass the chain fence on your right next to Drake Road. All activity buses should park in the
parking lot across from the
tennis court in front of the school.
We are asking that all teams sit on the visitor's side of
the stadium.
We will have water available on the tables on
the football field.
Bathrooms are located next to the concession stand.
The concession stand will be open and selling hotdogs, burgers, drinks, candy and other snacks.
The meet will start promptly at 5:00 with the running of the 4 x 800m relay and the field events.
The Men's High Jump will be first followed by the Women. The Women's long jump first followed by
the men. The men's and women's triple jump will start immediately after the MEN's long jump has concluded.
The Men's discus first followed by the Women.
The Women's shot put first followed by the Men.
The pole vault will be contested.
All other running events will start at 5:30.
Women will go first in all running events.
We will run the FASTEST RUNNERS IN HEAT 1.
Coach, please use verified times in the fastest two heats in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 100m and 110 hurdles.
Coach, please tell your relay teams what lane they are in for each relay. Relay members will report directly to their zones. When teams are ready, each exchange judge will give a white flag.
4 x 200m relay---1st exchange zone and 3rd exchange
zone Eastern. 2nd exchange zone (starting line side) NE Guilford.
4 x 100m relay---- 1st exchange zone NE Guilford
and , 2nd exchange Eastern, 3rd exchange zone Southern.
High Jump-Southern High
Discus - Southern High, and NEG
Shot Put-Southern High and Eastern
Long and triple- Southern and NEG
