Eastern Sandhills Athletic Conference Championship 2026

Registration
- Entries are limited to 3 athletes per event (Unified Events: 8 entries per event)
- Relays are limited to 1 relay team per school, per event (Unified: 2 relay team per event)
- Entries: It is encouraged to enter each athlete using a verified mark or time achieved during the current season. If an athlete has not competed in an event this season, please do not submit an estimated performance. Since most events will be contested as timed finals, it is important that entries accurately reflect current performances to ensure fair seeding and maintain the integrity of the meet.
- No substitutions are permitted in individual events
- Maximum of 4 events per athlete
- Spike checks will be conducted at check-in (1/4 pyramid spikes only)

Track Meet Information & Expectations
Each participating school will be assigned an event to help manage during the meet.
- Team Tent Location: Tents are permitted in the stands, but no tents near the start line. No athletes or fans near the finishline on the fence.
- Bus Unloading & Parking: Student-athletes may be unloaded near the main entrance. After unloading, buses must be moved to the designated bus parking area.
- Infield Access: Spectators are not allowed on the infield, and electronics are prohibited on the infield. Only athletes preparing for an upcoming event should be on the infield. Wristbands will be distributed to all athletes for identification.
- Sportsmanship: Teams and individuals may be disqualified for foul language, unsportsmanlike conduct, or inappropriate behavior.
- Awards - Individual Events: Medals (including relay events) will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event.
- Awards - Team Competition: Team trophies will be awarded to the highest-scoring boys' and girls' teams.
- MVP Award: The MVP trophy will be awarded to the boy and girl who score the most points during the meet. For relay events, athletes will receive one-fourth (1/4) of the points earned toward their MVP total.
- Coaches Of The Year Award(s): The Coaches' Award recipient will be selected by vote of the head coaches.
- Starting Blocks: Teams are encouraged to bring their own blocks. Reid Ross does not provide blocks.
- Throwing Implements: Please bring your own throwing implements for field events.
- Tape Measures: Please bring extra tape measures to assist with field events.
- Live Results: Meet results and team scores will be available live online throughout the competition.

Morning Schedule
- 10:30 AM - Gates open for teams only
- Spectators will not be allowed entry at this time
- 11:00 AM - Weigh-ins and implement inspections
- Located by the field house (Shed) near the team entrance
- 11:15 AM - Officials/Coaches Meeting
- Located at the timing tent near the finish line
- 11:15 AM - Coaches Scratch Meeting
- Scratches only (No substitutions permitted)
- Located near the scratch meeting area
- 11:15 AM - Pits open for warm-ups
- 11:30 AM - Gates open for Spectators

Awards Presentation
- Medals may be picked up by a coach or athlete 15 minutes after the completion of each event.
- Formal award presentations will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the Boys 4x400m Relay.
