Thomas TJ Mumford Kidney Transplant
Thomas Jordan Mumford also known as TJ was born in Alamance County January1990 to Tommy and Donna Mumford, with one other sibling, Daniel Mumford. TJ graduated from Southern Alamance High School in 2008. He played football for 4years and was a member of FFA (Future Farmers of America).
TJ was diagnosed with Wegener's Granulomatosis in the spring of 2009. Wegener's Disease is a form of Vaculities that affects the lungs, kidneys, and other organs. WG is an uncommon disease that affects about 1 in 20,000 to 1 in 30,000 people. About 90% of patients have symptoms of a cold or runny nose or sinusitis that fell to respond to the usual therapeutic measures and last considerably longer than usual upper respiratory tract infections. There is no known cause of WG: but it is not contagious, and there is no evidence it is hereditary.
Unfortunately the disease damaged TJ's kidneys. TJ is currently in remission with Wegener's Granulomatosis Disease, but due to the damage that his kidneys received, TJ will need a kidney transplant. We are reaching out to our family, friends and our community to help raise money to help TJ pay for the costly medical bills that will be in the near future.

Will accept race day registrations for the open race and 1 mile walk only.

$100.00 Per Girls Team
$100.00 Per Boys Team
This event will be scored as a team.
Awards will be given for 1st 2nd and 3rd Place Teams
The top three individual finishers will receive an award
Open Race
$25.00 Will give first 50 registrations a t-shirt. Could move up to 100 if registration goes quick and can get shirts printed.
Top Three male/female runners will receive an award
One Mile Fun Walk
