The 5A Central Regional will be held Saturday, May 9 at Southeast Alamance High School. We will take the top 16 in each event. Entries are due Saturday, May 2 by 9 pm. After entries close, a preliminary performance list will be sent out. Coaches can make late entries using the form on the NCHSAA website until 11 am Monday, May 4 (these late entries are sent to the NCHSAA). Coaches can also scratch athletes from events by Monday at 11 am, if they choose, by emailing the meet director (kj_harold@bellsouth.net). A final performance list will be sent out Monday, May 4. There will be no scratches at the meet. Athletes must compete in events in which they are entered. If an athlete fails to compete in an event, they will be disqualified from the remainder of the meet. Relay athletes should be entered online, but you can substitute eligible athletes on relays on race day.
Preliminary schedule:
9:00 - 10:00 disci inspection, pole vault weigh-in and pole inspection
10:00 am coaches meeting
11:00 field events and high hurdle and 100 preliminaries
