Cross Country Season Starts Here!
This race will be held at Cub Creek Park in Wilkesboro, NC - 206 S Bridge St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697
High School races will be 2 miles. Middle School races will be 1.5 miles. This is a two lap course that is very spectator friendly.
All races will be entirely on a flat and fast dirt track that provides the perfect venue to test early season fitness. Runners can gain confidence from running fast times on an excellent surface.
Middle School races will begin at 6:00 pm with girls and boys to follow at approximately 6:20.
High School races will begin at 7:00 pm with girls and boys to follow at approximately 7:30.
If needed, divisions may be split into additional events based on seed time.
On the map below the dotted line marks the path that we will run around the park. Team tents may be setup in grassy areas anywhere alongside the race route. The start/finish area is also shown. This is where you can check in and pick up your bib numbers when you arrive. Parking is also marked on the map. The closest bus parking will be in lots on both sides of Bridge Street. Buses should not try to access the lot closest to the start/finish area.
