Meet Information
The NCHSAA 4-A East Regional Cross Country Championship will be held at Red Oak Middle School (3170 Red Oak-Battleboro Rd, Battleboro NC) in the town of Red Oak. This venue is conveniently located just off both I-95 and Rt. 64 for easy access. The course is very spectator friendly and offers a layout with a mixture of grass fields and wood chip trails with a large open starting area and a 300 meter straight-a-way finish. The starting line and finish line is located behind the school building.
The time schedule for this meet is as listed below:
Facilities open.............7:30 a.m.
Packet pick-up.............8:00 at the finish line tent
Coach's meeting..........8:45 at the finish line tent
Men's 2-A race.............9:30
Men's 1-A race.............10:15
Men's 4-A race.............11:00
Women's 2-A race........11:45
Women's 1-A race........12:30
Women's 4-A race........1:15
Awards.......................2:15 in the gym -- building to the far left coming up the hill from the course.
Parking: All buses should should enter the bus parking lot located on the left side of campus. Once all the bus parking spots get taken, remaining buses should pull around and park on the outside edge of the circle of the parking lot next to the football field bleachers.
Spectators will in directed to the main entrance of the school for car parking. There will be a $5 charge per vehicle.
Tent City: All team tents and camps should be placed within the baseball field. There are four walkin gates and a drive through gate for your convenience, please do not climb the fence.
Official 2025 Regional T-shirt: Tee shirts will be for sale under the tent adjacent to team camps.
Concession Stand will be be open with pizza, gatorade, candy, chips, soda and water.
Bathrooms are located at the concession stand and inside the gym. Please do not wear spikes in the gym and do not go into any other part of the school building.
