The Pace Yourself Early Bird Challenge 8/16/25
Entry Fee - $80
This years meet is sponsored and awards provided by Pace Yourself Run Co. - Holly Springs. Please visit them for all of your running needs located at 242 S Main St Suite 102, Holly Springs, NC 27540.
The 4th Annual Early Bird Challenge is by invitation only. Please email Paul Lockwood - Apex High XC (plockwood@wcpss.net) for any questions.
Invite Status: TBA
The Early Bird Challenge is a no frills 5k on the current WakeMed Cross Country Course. It is unlimited entries for the teams invited. We ask that you do not bring runners who cannot complete a 5K without walking.

7:00 AM Warm-Ups Open
8:00 AM Invitational Girls Race
8:40 AM Invitational Boys Race
*per WCPSS XC Policy - We must complete and exit the course prior to 10 AM.
Please do not visit the park for a walk through or "pre-meet" without permission from the Town of Cary.
