Meet Information

ABOUT KATHY MCMILLAN

Kathy McMillan, a native of Raeford (Hoke County), is a former Olympian who won a silver medal in the Women's Long Jump in 1976 Olympics in Montreal. She has also won multiple state titles and AAU championships while in high school. She still holds the all-time long jump record in North Carolina (22'3") set in 1976.

McMillan attended Tennessee State and was inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. She has also been inducted to the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and the National Track and Field Hall of Fame. To read more about Kathy McMillan, click here

** For the throwers relay, all relay legs must be entered to throw at the meet. This event will not be scored. 
When entering your athletes, please be reminded that each athlete can be entered in no more than 4 events. For the laned events, please do not enter more than 4 athletes from your school and for the distance events do not enter more than 5 athletes for each event. For the Sprint Medley Relay, the girls will run 100-100-200-400 and the boys will run 200-200-400-800. For the Distance Medley Relay, both boys and girls will run 1200-400-800-1600.
