3200-meter race, open to all HS teams.
THIS EVENT IS REGISTERED AS A HOKA POSTAL NATIONALS LOCAL EVENT. We will have awards from Hoka, and coaches can register their team's results and potentially get free shoes from Hoka.
Please contact Coach Honea at david.honea@bcsemail.org if you are interested in competing. We have added a password to be sure we don't add more teams than we can accommodate. We are very likely to have multiple sections, sections will be set up based on entries the night before the meet. Scoring will be based on combined times from all sections. NOTE: Due to course scheduling constraints it is VERY likely this event will be run on the track. Please check the week of the meet for parking and check-in information.
Entry fee: $40 per school. (Note: Maximum entry fee per school for all ACRHS events in the 2025 XC season is $70 - if you run more than two meets the additional meets are free.)
Entries: Please enter a reasonable 3200-meter seed time for every athlete. If you don't have a time, or think previous track times are not representative of the athlete's current fitness, and estimate is fine. Using 60% of the best 5k time is probably good if you don't have anything else.
Race Day: We will begin at 4:30 with the slowest sections first, alternating girls and boys with the fastest sections at the end. Please have all your spectators park AT THE STADIUM (not in the visitor lot used for the cross country course.) Please arrive after 3:15 to avoid the school dismissal traffic.
