Wonder Relays 3x1600 2025

The A.L. Brown Wonders of Kannapolis would like you to end your summer training with a fun, relay-style event to test your fitness! This is a three-person relay race where each athlete will run a 1600 around our newly-laid track. Please note the change from five to three runners per relay team. Costumes/team outfits/themes are encouraged. Let's say you bring 13 girls. Put your best on relay teams, and the odd person out can run as an individual in the 7pm race so they still get the chance to run and you can get their time. You are encouraged to bring a unique baton (lightsaber/can of beans/broccoli stalk) and dress up as unique and fun as you want. We're talking to YOU, banana costume lovers and face paint warriors. Cost is $60 per school(this includes entry for all the races) You can mail it, bring it with you, or process it online at the link below. Concessions will be open. $3 spectator fee. Music will be played during races; teams may submit song requests via email (nick.buckwell@kcs.k12.nc.us). Team timing will be done by A.L. Brown. Individual timing can be done by your team's coaches if wanted. Watches are allowed. Trophies presented to 1st Place High School Girl's, 1st Place High School Boy's, and Best-Dressed High School Girls, and High School Boys. Medals will be presented to each member of top three teams of high school teams. First, Second, and Third place will come ONLY from the A team race. The trophies you reciev are SURE to standout in your trophie cases!
