As the regular track and field season has finished, the time for National Championships has approached. The NCAA Regionals will be hosted by North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C., on May 27-29. Senior Alexandra Cadicamo, senior Claudia Duncan, junior Kate Grace and sophomore Anne Lovelace have qualified for the East Regional Championships.

Hayes Punches Ticket to NCAA Outdoor Championships May 28, 2010

GREENSBORO, N.C - The Seton Hall track field teams resumed competition at the NCAA East Regionals on Friday. Senior Jernail Hayes (Newark, Del.) ran the eighth fastest time (56.95) in the semi's of the 400-meter hurdles to earn at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon next weekend. Hayes also moved into the semifinals of the 200-meter dash, running a 23.70 in her heat, giving her the 15th fastest qualifying time. Senior Krista Simkins (Wissahicken, Pa.) also ran in the 200-meter dash, but her time of 24.28. Junior Christopher Cox (Manahawkin, N.J.) posted a 46.75 in the semifinals of the 400-meter dash, but missed out on advancing to the NCAA's. The men's and women's 4x400-meter relay teams will be in action on Saturday to vie for an NCAA Championship berth.
