GOLDEN DASH Relays 2025

E.E. Smith High School Track and Field Program is hosting the 1st Annual Golden Dash Relays Invitational on March 8, 2025 at 10am. This meet is a great kickstart early-season meet to help prepare athletes for their upcoming season. The track facility is adjacent to Reid Ross Classical School, 3200 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC, 28301. 

MEET INFORMATION

Eligibility: Open to all high school teams, and high school age athletes competing unattached.

Entries: Schools will be able to enter 3 athletes per event. Athletes can only compete in 4 events. Entries will be done on Mile Split.

THROWS AND JUMPS: 3-ATTEMPTS: NO FINALS

Registration: Registration will be done online through NCRunners (MileSplit).
Awards: There will be trophies for the team champion and runner up. Medals will be awarded for the top three finishers in each event. 

Facilities: 

Reid Ross Track and Field (Tokay Complex) is a NEWLY STATE OF THE ART FAST TRACK as of 12/01/2024. This is an 8 lane, 42 inches red all-weather track.  It also has four jump pits, two shot put circles and pole vault. This site has been the location of many athletic events including the CIAA Championship, the NC High School Regional Championship, and the Junior Olympic State Championship.

The track is an 8-lane rubberized surface, as are the runways for the jumps. We will not contest the pole vault at this meet. No spikes may be worn that are longer than quarter of an inch.  The shot put area is concrete and discus is on the baseball field.

 Declaration: All entries should be confirmed or scratched from the meet by 8:30am. Coaches meeting at 9am.

 No late entries of other athletes if you scratch one.

Seeding: All events will be seeded according to your entry submission.

Concessions: Concessions will be on sale throughout the day.

Hospitality:We will provide complimentary lunches for those who will be working the meet.

All entries will be done on-line through ncrunners (MileSplit).

Spectator Fee: $8 (5 and under Free!)

Entry Fee: $125.00 per school: Bringing both Men & Women

$75.00 Single team (Men or Women Only); 4 athletes constitutes a team.

$25.00 per Individual Athlete* (Not with a full team) Unattached Athletes are allowed.
