Mountaineer Relays 2025

Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Mountaineer Relays! Please note that this is a Relay Meet, NOT a traditional Track & Field Meet. There will be NO: 100m Dash, 200m Dash, 400m Dash, 800m Run, 1600m Run, or 300m Intermediate Hurdles. There is a $100 entry fee per school to help cover the cost of the timing company and medals for 1st-place finishers.

Important Notes:

• MEDALS WILL BE AWARDED TO ALL FIRST-PLACE FINISHERS!
• A HOSPITALITY ROOM WILL BE PROVIDED FOR COACHES.
• All buses should be parked against the baseball right-field fence.

Coaches should attend a meeting at the check-in tent at 3:40pm. ALL spikes will be inspected and only 1/4-inch pyramids (no needles or trees) will be allowed. Only 4 athletes per event and 1 relay team.  Discus and Shot Put will be opened up to 5 athletes to help you field your Throwers' 4x100m Relay.  If you have a preference on what event you would like to work, please email Coach Raza-Spearman at herazaspearman@clevelandcountyschools.org--if not, you will be placed where there is a need.

Order of Events for Mountaineer Relays

3:40pm - Coaches' Meeting @ Check-In

3:50pm - Chad Pearson 3200m Run

4:20pm - 100/110m High Hurdles

4:40pm - 4x100m Relay

4:55pm - 4x400m Relay

5:20pm - 4x200m Relay

5:35pm - Distance Medley Relay (1200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m)

6:10pm - Throwers 4x100m (members MUST have a mark in a throwing event)

6:30pm - Sprint Medley Relay (100m, 100m, 200m, 400m)

6:45pm - 4x800m Relay
