MEET CANCELLED FOR 2024 only. We will find a better date for 2025. The 1st Annual Piedmont Triad Middle School Cross Country Championships will be held at Ivey Redmond Park on the historic Ivey Redmond course and will be run by the coaching staff of Atkins High School "Where it is Cool to be Smart.". We will host multiple races starting at 330pm with the Camel City Youth XC 800m for any runner (boys and girls that are currently 7 years of age or younger. 4:00pm Camel City Youth XC One Mile for any runner (boys and girls that are currently attending 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade at any recognized public / private / Church / Home Schooled institutions.
Runners can run unattached or as a team of three to compete for the Camel City Youth Mile Championships. Medals to ALL Finishers. Trophy to winning team. Teams can be mixed in any variation (3 boys/3 girls/1 boy 2 girls/2girls 1 boy, etc / YOU decide! Camel City Youth Girls Championship will be a 2 mile race with individual awards to the top 20 Girls and a trophy to the winning team of 3 or more. The next race of the evening will be the boys Camel City Youth XC Games Championships (minimum of 5 runners to a max of 10 entries per team. B, C or D teams can race if you have a lot of kids wanting to race. Awards to all Boys who FINISH the race. An award to the Winning Team both boys and girls. (Cash or credit/debit cards will be accepted) ENTRY FEES ARE $20 per individual (No team affiliation) or a MAXIMUM of $200 for an UNLIMITED NUMBER OF boys and/or girls per School/Club/Organization.
